New academic year – new energy

Moreover children from Kalmykia were taking active part in different events. Particularly every child’s shift performed a concert with fork art elements and national costumes for getting acquainted each other. Also they were taking part in different sport competitions, contests of drawing, dancing, making figures of sand on the sea shore, in Neptune’s day, beauty contests. Most active participants were rewarded with diplomas of the children’s health and recreation center.
All child’s events were shot and after each shift ending older guys of the group received several CD copies with recording of the most interesting and memorable moments. While being in the camp children from Kalmykia got acquainted and made friends with children from Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and different Ukrainian cities (Uzhgorod, Kherson, Novaya Kakhovka, Poltava, Novomoskovsk, Fastov and other). Guys tried to tell and know more about features of different national cultures, to get a sea of new knowledge and interesting information about similarities and differences among Russian, Ukrainian and Kalmykian people. During this rest children not only improved their health, but also it was active cultural exchange. Everybody went home with lots of new knowledge and vivid impressions about rest on the shore of the Sea of Azov.

Also we want to express attitude to the administrators of the children’s health and recreation center „Orlyonok“ for the irreproachable service and organizing cultural program for our children. We hope that this project on supporting children from needy families, initiated by Vladimir Palikhata, will be organizing next summer too», — said Badma Salaev, the Minister for Education and Science of the Republic of Kalmykia, on children’s return.
