The operation of law-enforcement authorities repressed criminal activities of an exactor

Moscow, January 17 – criminal activities of an investigator of the Investigation Committee under Public Prosecutor's Office was repressed in the course of operation conducted under direct control of top law enforcement officials of the Russian Federation.

As reported by the Rosenergomash Press-Service, the chief special investigator Andrey Grivtsov using materials on criminal cases that were under his supervision tried to concoct evidence about the implication of the President of Rosenergomash Concern Vladimir Palikhata and his advocate Mikhail Vytnov in several criminal affairs. These criminal cases have been under investigation for 5 years. The court of one criminal case is rendered, group of persons was judged; the court of the second case is almost completed.

It should be noted that in the course of investigative actions taken by Andrey Grivtsov witnesses in said criminal cases were put under pressure to give evidence concerning the implication of Vladimir Palikhata and Mikhail Vytnov in these crimes.

As the President of Rosenergomash Concern Vladimir Palikhata said: «Neither I nor my advocate was involved in events that were investigated within the bounds of these criminal cases. This fact was confirmed both by investigation and court instance. Increased attention to my person on the part of investigator can be easily explained. More than once I was given to understand that I can bribe in order to avoid persecution on this case».

The Rosenergomash Press-Service refused to give additional comments explaining that more information about the case should be expected from investigating authorities.
